The STEAM Conference is back!

Learn new approaches and different ways of thinking from experts in different fields and leave feeling inspired to apply STEAM to your business or research.

From the use of LEGO construction kits in business education to developing a 3D-printed sensor-enabled violin bow – there is something for everyone.

Birmingham City University’s International STEAM Conference will be taking place on Tuesday 13th July 2021. When Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths collide, anything can happen.

The conference is aimed at all those curious about interdisciplinary thinking. We invite researchers, teachers, innovators, industry representatives, artists, scientists and those not bounded by their sectors to register for tickets today and share in how Birmingham City University is shaping conversations around cross-sector working.

The day runs from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm (BST) and is centred on three themes – Exploratory education for everyone, Turbocharging with tech, Collaboration through community – with presentations, panels and live Q&As from international experts and Birmingham City University staff. Only one ticket per person is required for the entire event. The event will offer the opportunity to join an exclusive collaborative event parallel to the Conference, for follow-up discussions on STEAM approaches, theory and practice.

We look forward to seeing you!
